How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're gonna take a closer look at our Sure-Grip Running Boards on the Toyota Tacoma. Westin is a really solid quality brand across the board as far as the Sure-Step. These guys are gonna give you more of a OEM look as far as how close it mounts to the body of the vehicle. It's a cradle mount style, meaning that the brackets hold the step from underneath and it's bolted directly to the frame, so it gives you ultimate, you know, stability for it. The material is a lightweight extruded aluminum that is powder coated to protect against corrosion. Aluminum in general is naturally corrosion resistant. more

Aries Round Nerf Bars Installation - 2023 Toyota Tacoma- Video

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Aries nerf bar on a 2023 Toyota Tacoma. Nice and solid as far as the stability. You can see that they're rocking the entire truck. You have a nice large step area, comes up to about 20 inches as far as usable step space, nice and rugged. And it's actually a polypropylene material that they use, so that's gonna be really good to hold up against the elements as well as UV light. It is a steel tube. more

Westin Grate Step Nerf Bars Installation - 2023 Toyota Tacoma- Video

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Westin Grate Step Running Boards on our 2023 Toyota Tacoma. Overall, it feels really good. Out of all the running boards that I've looked at today, I would say that this has the best powder coat and the most aggressive design. The teeth on each one of the treads, they're actually cut in pretty deeply to get a nice bite on ice, snow, mud, whatever you may need, or even in wet, slippery, slick conditions, it can really bite onto the bottom of your shoe. The material is steel, so it's gonna be really strong. I really wouldn't be overly concerned with corrosion just based on the thickness of this powder coat. more

Now here's where our Nerf bars are going to look like once we have them installed and Nerf bars are going to do two different things for you. They're going to give your truck a really nice clean appearance, but at the same time, they're going to make it easier getting in and out. These three inch tube steps are going to make your vehicle look better, and they're going to make it easier to get in and out. Today on our 2013 Toyota Highlander we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Westin sure grip 6 inch wide running boards with custom installation kit. The part number is 27-6120-1855. Here's what our running boards are going to look like installed. As you can see this is going to be a very nice clean look. These running boards I think are some of the closest after market running boards to what factory running boards are. They're going to be a 6 foot long board, 6 inches wide and they've got a textured grip strip here which is 4 and a half inches wide. more

Westin Oval Tube Steps Installation - 2012 Toyota Tacoma- Video

Today on our 2012 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Westin oval tube steps with custom installation kit in black, part number 22-5055-1475. Now here's what they look like once they're installed and since this is a wide oval step, it's going to give you greater stability than some of the narrower tube steps that are on the market. They're made of a mild steel with a black, powder-coated finish. It's going to help prevent against rust and corrosions and keep them looking nice for many years. The step plates are of UV-resistant polymer, so you're going to have long life out of those as well. The raised tread here is going to help with your shoes to get a good grip even in wet weather. more

Westin E-Series Round Nerf Bars Installation - 2016 Toyota Tacoma- Video

Today on our 2016 Toyota Tacoma, we'll be installing the Westin E-series 3 inch round Nerf Bars. Part number 23-2675. This is what our step bars look like installed. As you can see, they have a nice stream line look, and they help give our truck a more rugged appearance. They also make it easier for us to help get in and out of of our vehicle easily. We step on them, they give us a nice solid place to stand if we need to reach on top of our roof to strap something down if we have a roof rack, or if we need to use them to help wash the vehicle, we have something to stand on so we can wash off the roof of our truck nice and easily. They have this nice, non-slip, three inch wide pad for our front seat passengers to get in the vehicle. As well as our backseat passengers right here. more

DeeZee Running Board Installation - 2012 Toyota 4Runner- Video

Today on this 2012 Toyota 4Runner, were going to be installing the DeeZee Running Boards, part number DZ16201-16261. This is a kit thats made up of the running boards, part number DZ16201 and also the bracket kit that includes all the hardware, part number DZ16261. The first thing we need to do is take some of our square-headed bolts and drop them into the channels on the other side of the running boards. We need three and each of these channels, one about the middle and one towards either end. Well slide them and adjust them later when we get ready to mount the boards. Well repeat the same procedure for the other board. more
